All White Salmon Boat Works canoes and sea kayaks are made with extreme care. By doing so we ensure that each kit will be easy to assemble, free of any hidden complications. and each part is hand made by me. All of our kits come with compete help support - either by email, text, digital photographs, or by telephone.

White Salmon Boat Works has been building boats for many years, and we have spoken with a variety of different types of want-to-be builders, either at fairs, shopping malls, boats shows, or with the person who walks into our boat shop. So throughout the years we have developed what we think are a few good time tested kit scenarios for our customers. We use only the finest of materials in each kit we put together, such as: Tight Bond II glue, System Three SB 112 boat builders epoxy, Z - Spar's Flagship Varnish, full length, clear and knot free western red cedar milled to`1/4" x 3/4" x ? - length of the boat selected.

Our kits prices may cost a little more than many other kit builders, however when you compare the contents of our kits with other providers, you will easily see the value you receive. We are THE ONLY kit provider that supplies the complete strongback and the saddle supports. Complete 14' Wherry Row Boat

The White Salmon Boat Works team is proud to offer this beautiful row boat in a complete or partial kit form. We take great care building and cutting out each part for this beautiful row boat. White Salmon Boat Works are the only kit builder to supple the solidly built pre-made plywood strongback. We actually construct the strongback, secure the form blocks to the strongback, then we add the forms and gussets. The forms are aligned, fine tune the forms so the strips for a perfect fit. We clearly mark each boat piece before they are disassemble for easy reassembly, the all parts are checked off the parts list before the are boxed for shipping. Another unique item we are the only kit builder is to supply the two sturdy saddles the boat will sit on during the construction of the inside of the boat. As you see this is no easy quick throw it together project. If you live within driving distance of White Salmon, Washington picking up your kit will save considerable amount of money. Another way of saving money is to build the strongback and saddles yourself. This wills save you hundred of dollars in shipping cost. Also I will deduct $500.00 off the full kit price.

I have listed below the parts you will receive in the full kit. I only use full length, knot free, VG Western Red Cedar for the hull, White Ash for the gunnels, scupper blocks, seats and deck plates. I suggest if you decide to order a kit that you call me 509-637-4393 before you order.
